Description
A five pocket jean is the great equaliser when it comes to our wardrobes - real wear can’t be faked, the way it moulds to the body and shows its function in every abraded edge and whisker. If you want a perfect pair of jeans, they have to be worn hard, worn continuously, worn until it becomes fundamental to the wardrobe. No matter how much money you have, the only way to get a pair of jeans that is broken in perfectly for you is to put in hours and wear them down.
The 133s is the slimmed-down little brother to the 133. Different (as brothers like to be), by being produced in a left-hand twill denim, as opposed to the right-hand twill of our fuller cut. Built on the same block as our 933 black denim, for those that are familiar with it, the 133s share the same slimmer fit, tapered from the knee, while still being comfortable in the top block and thigh in all sizes.
Left-hand twill denim differs from the more common right-hand twill in the direction of the weave, which is tighter and more stable construction; shrinking a little less, and softening substantially with wear leaving a slightly sueded hand-feel once lived in for long enough.
Made in Okayama from 13.5oz denim, they carry our unfinished iron buttons, meant to tarnish and age over time.
