Description
An iconic piece of American Farming and Workwear history, the FFA jacket was designed in 1933 by Dr. Gus LIntner of Frederickton, Ohio as a uniform for the Future Farmers of America Association members.
Originally made by Universal Uniform Co. of Kansas City, its classic zip fronted blouson model earned it’s place in vintage workwear history as a practical piece of workwear uniform, iconic in it’s navy corduroy, chain-stitched names and FFA patch on the back.
For our version, we have realised it in a 325gr dusty dark pink corduroy from Japan, to pair with broken down denims. Made in Okayama,it sits neat and boxy, with a relaxed sleeve and button cuff, finished with a solid brass and cotton tape Universal Zip from Japan.
Uniform for the day to day, with enough elegance to sharpen up any farmer’s working gear.
